Talk of revolution today often signals an advert for a car or washing machine. This was much more serious than that. A series of revolutionary figures from history are subjected to sketches about their work, life or achievements. Many worked well. The Pope challenging Galileo to a fight and the Napoleon song were hilarious, and I will now think of Sylvia Pankhurst in a new light. Did it work having Peter Snow with the Twin Towers rather than a swingometer? It could have done but the sketch was poor. The overall effect was of a slick, fast moving show with some imaginative material. Just one thing, if you have a sound system as bad as this one, turn the volume down a bit.
Until August 25: 22.22 (55mins).
